More cannabis businesses appear on Inc. 5000
As the cannabis industry continues to grow, cannabis brands and the businesses that cater to them are making a larger and larger impact on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately owned businesses, with dozens of cannabis-related companies making this year’s list.
The top-placing cannabis-related businesses this year were not brands, however, but ancillary businesses that serve the industry. Following closely behind at No. 69 was cannabis-focused PR agency Mattio Communications out of New York, which saw growth of 5,734% over the past three years and represents several of the other businesses that cracked the Inc. 5000.
The highest-ranking cannabis brand in this year’s list was Jeeter, a California-based pre-roll brand that saw 3,346% growth over the past three years and landed it at No. 144.
