Diamond Packaging won a Health + Wellness Design Award from Graphic Design USA for its work in designing packaging for Hedy infused chocolate bars.
Hedy was recently launched by The Cannabis Company as a “bright, fun and inviting visual representation that truly reflects the uplifting edibles experience.”
Diamond’s engineering team customized its award-winning Diamond Lockbox cannabis packaging design, which is a user friendly and compliant packaging option designed to be luxurious enough to rival that of high-end cosmetic brands.
The folding cartons were converted utilizing laminated paperboard and offset printed with five PMS inks, in-line with UV matte coating and DiamondTouch soft touch coating. The inner tray was offset printed with two PMS inks, in-line with UV matte coating and DiamondTouch soft touch coating. The overall soft touch coating adds an appealing tactile quality that promotes consumer interaction.

GDUSA’s Health + Wellness Design Awards honor graphic excellence in this fast-growing, hugely important, and high-profile arena. Nearly 3,000 entries were submitted to the competition this year, with only the top 10% selected as winners.
