Indie Change participants had the pleasure of meeting Scarlette, Falcanna’s Red-Naped Shaheen falcon.
Marijuana Venture welcomed dozens of artisan producers and independent retailers to its bi-annual Indie Change networking event in Seattle on September 22. Hundreds of cannabis professionals from throughout Washington took meetings at the beautiful Ederer Hall (which happens to be the head offices of Marijuana Venture and Interchange) for a single day of one-on-one meetings between retail buyers and cannabis producers.
“The event went super well,” said Marijuana Venture semi-retired publisher Greg James.
“We got a ton of compliments, and the energy level was high all day. Overall, it was one of the best events we’ve done in terms of user feedback and satisfaction.”
Indie Change is an offshoot of Marijuana Venture’s successful Interchange format, where buyers and vendors meet in a series of scheduled face-to-face meetings. The event is specifically tailored toward smaller cannabis businesses, including one- and two-store retailers and Tier 1 and Tier 2 cultivators.
Marijuana Venture debuted the Indie Change event on April 29, 2025, and due to popular demand it has become a regular occurrence in the spring and fall months.
Indie Change will no doubt return in 2027 for another spectacular event, for more information contact Interchange@marijuanaventure.com
