The first-ever Emjays International Cannabis Awards rolled out the red carpet at MJBizCon, awarding ancillary businesses and individuals across 24 categories
The inaugural Emjays International Cannabis Awards were held during this year’s MJBizCon at the Pearl Theater in the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on November 30, 2023. Unlike many of the industry’s growing competitions, the Emjays recognize innovative businesses and individuals who offer ancillary services and/or products that support the industry.
The Emjays were a collaboration between Farechild Events and MJBizCon.

The black-tie event was hosted by cannabis journalist Mary Jane Gibson and comedian Mike Glazer and featured celebrities such as Xzibit, Hope Wiseman and Jim McMahon to present awards to individuals and businesses across 24 categories.
“While recognition means a lot, what drives us is our focus and dedication to our clients and their pioneering tasks on a daily and weekly basis,” said Bob Hoban, Clark Hill’s cannabis industry group co-chair and winner of the the Law Firm of the Year Award. “Groundbreaking entrepreneurs and clients require inventive legal counsel and advisory, and that’s what Clark Hill provides.”
