Brianna McGee is a relative newcomer to the cannabis industry, but the former-nurse-turned-cannabis-executive has been turning heads with her Bay Area brand Bombatta, which she co-founded with Brian Jenkins in December 2022. A nurse at heart, McGee says her passion for the industry stems from “a genuine belief that it has the power to positively impact people’s lives.”
“The numerous health benefits that cannabis offers are a true testament to its potential as a therapeutic agent,” McGee says. “My ultimate goal is to play an active role in advancing the industry, unlocking its full potential to transform people’s lives for the better.”
Bombatta looks to feature the best in genetics in order to secure top-shelf placement in the extremely competitive Bay Area market. The company has already found some success at retail, with its flower being sold in high-profile stores such as Cookies and Blum, among others. McGee says that in addition to providing high-quality cannabis for longtime consumers and newcomers alike, she also wants to educate as many people as she can about the positive effects cannabis can have on consumers’ physical and mental wellbeing.
“I am passionate about challenging the negative stigma surrounding cannabis use and aspire to offer a premium, reliable product under a brand — Bombatta — that people know and love,” she says. “By providing consistent, top-quality cannabis, I hope to help shift the conversation surrounding this misunderstood plant and demonstrate its potential for improving lives.”
