Marijuana Venture magazine is proud to announce Futurola as a Gold Sponsor of the RAD Expo, which will be Jan. 17-18, 2018 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
The Retail and Dispensary (RAD) Expo is the first national trade show aimed at the retail side of the cannabis business, the fastest-growing industry in the country. Unlike the dozens of other general cannabis shows, expos, trade events and conventions, RAD is a business-only show specifically for marijuana retailers and their vendors.
“We are excited that a high-profile, international company like Futurola is joining us to help bring this new, retail-focused trade show to life,” Marijuana Venture publisher Greg James said. “Futurola is a brand that recognizes the opportunities for growth throughout this industry and provides quality products for retail shops, as well as producers and cultivators.”
Futurola is an industry-leading manufacturer of rolling papers and machines, including the iconic King Sized Cone Roller, the Futurola Knockbox cone filling system and Futurola Shredder, designed to evenly fill the company’s Pre-Rolled Cones, which are all individually hand-rolled to perfection using their exclusive ultra-thin rolling paper and organic arabic gum.
“We take extreme pride in ensuring that we provide our clients with the highest level of customer care and product innovations,” said Lauren Woods, Futurola client relationship manager.
The RAD Expo is free to anyone who is an owner, buyer or employee of a medical marijuana dispensary or retail shop. While most cannabis industry events charge exorbitant entry fees, the RAD Expo’s model is the same as traditional trade shows, such as E3, CES and BookExpo. Exhibitors pay for booth space, and their customers are admitted free. This encourages foot traffic, and promotes a busy trade floor with lots of qualified buyers.
Exhibitors will be made up of two distinct categories: Those who want to help stores get designed and built (lighting, design, architecture, store fixtures, marketing consultants, etc.), and those who have items they want sold in the stores (food, drinks, clothing, marijuana, seeds, clones, pipes and accessories, etc.).
The timing of the show coincides with the opening of California’s adult-use market, which anticipates 6,000 new retailers coming online in 2018.
