Marijuana Venture’s 11th Washington Interchange was bigger and better than ever, connecting nearly 60 producers, processors and auxiliary cannabis businesses with the buyers from nearly 50 retail stores from across the Evergreen State. The two-day buying event included hundreds of meetings, thousands in sales and universal praise from new and returning businesses.
“The only show worth the money,” says Rob McKinley, CEO of Phat Panda, Washington’s largest cannabis producer and multiple Interchange attendee.
“This event is singular in its’ approach within the cannabis industry. Interchange has proven invaluable,” says Adam Dewey, the director of purchasing for Elwha Peaks Cannabis, a new retail store in Washington and first-time Interchange attendee.
A truly unique event in the cannabis industry, Interchange is a private buy-and-sell event where buyers representing licensed cannabis businesses sit down for two-days of, scheduled meetings with producers, processors and other vendors looking to land their products on retail shelves.
The speed dating-like event allows retailers to connect to connect with both new and longtime suppliers and see the latest innovations in cannabis products, all in a setting that allows cannabis vendors ample time to showcase their products to dozens of verified retail buyers.
“We love Interchange and always look forward to meeting new suppliers,” says Ian Eisenberg, the owner of the Uncle Ike’s retail chain.
“It’s the only event we come to for taking on new accounts,” agrees Steve Lee, co-owner of the Green2Go retail chain in Eastern Washington.
Interchange events always sell out for both retailers and vendors, confirm attendance early by visiting Interchangemv.com or emailing Raina@marijuanaventure.com.
