Marijuana Venture’s 2023 series of Interchange events will conclude with the final Interchange on November 7-8 at the Renton Pavilion in downtown Renton, Washington.
While the total number of participants for the November Interchange has not been finalized, the event has steadily increased in size since its inception in 2016, with the spring event in Renton bringing in buyers from 55 retailers representing about 150 store locations and 60% of state sales, and roughly 60 local and national vendors.
The recent Interchange event in Spokane, Washington, saw more than a 100 cannabis growers, processors, ancillary vendors and retailers brought together for two days of buying and networking.
“The whole event was fantastic, and I loved being a part of it,” Local Harvest field marketing agent Mikaela Cummings wrote in an email to Marijuana Venture. “We did even better than I expected and I’m already busy following up with everyone today!”
The unique, business-only event matches vendors and retailers in a series of private meetings designed to be as efficient as possible and deliver participants the most bang for their buck through tightly scheduled and formatted one-on-one meetings across two days.
Best described as “speed dating for the cannabis industry,” Interchange is a business event in which state-licensed producers and processors meet for scheduled 25-minute meetings with dozens of verified retail buyers to make new clients, open new accounts and promote new products, while also maintaining existing business relationships in a business-only environment that is not open to the public.
Interchange was specifically created to save cannabis buyers and sellers time and money, by keeping operators focused doing business without the distractions that can occur at public events.
