Production Manager
The+Source
Las Vegas, NV
Every morning when I wake up, three words almost instantly register in my brain, a mantra of sorts: “quality, innovation, consistency.” As the production manager for The+Source in Las Vegas, I use these standards to navigate an industry with stringent testing and ever-changing regulations. The+Source advocates for accessibility to cannabis for all, with an emphasis on health and wellness benefits, and we’ve taken the time to study both what our community is asking for medicinally and what consumers are seeking recreationally. This is why we began manufacturing solventless products for our in-house brand, CAMP, which is a brand born from the idea of connecting with nature, connecting with others and connecting with yourself.
We’re honored to have won Best Cartridge from High Times and the Jack Herer Cup for our CAMP products. We manufacture these products without the use of solvents (like ethanol and CO2) to extract cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant. Done the right way, extractions using solvents can be clean and provide customers with a high-quality concentrated product. But solventless products are perceived as the cleaner option. Solventless products assure customers that the concentrated cannabis can be consumed in its most natural, unaltered state.
As a regular consumer of cannabis, I identified a need for a cleaner, flavorful alternative to consuming concentrated products discreetly and on the go. Being a proponent of solventless extraction gave me the insight to see a product that didn’t exist in Nevada: a solventless cartridge. Creating the product was both a labor of love and proof that dedicating endless hours to a hypothesis could result in an innovative alternative to mobile consumption. It’s flower in a cartridge! We’ve captured the essence of the cannabis and enhanced the cannabinoids with a terpene-rich, solventless concentrate to create an experience unlike any other vapeable product on the market.
Helping create these products for CAMP is my favorite part of the job. All CAMP products are created in small batches using flower picked and trimmed by hand. We pride ourselves on making the best concentrates for our consumers.
