Living the Dream: Brandon Wiegand

This has been an extraordinarily busy month for our organization!

CAMP launched our highly anticipated, small-but-mighty, solventless rosin disposable vape pen. We spent a ton of time researching the perfect hardware to pair with our flower rosin, ice water hash rosin and live rosin extracts — the first of their kind in Nevada. We took a simpler approach to packaging this product; not only does the product speak for itself, but our customers have told us they are tired of getting 10 grams of packaging for a 0.5-gram product.

We also welcomed a new team, opening The Source+ North Las Vegas, located at 420 E. Deer Springs. This will be our second new store opening in the past eight months. Our team is also preparing for two additional locations, in Downtown Las Vegas and Pahrump, that will open by the end of the year. Yes, we are hiring!

Plus, we are in the middle of doubling the size of both of our current grows to support current and future demand for CAMP flower. We have moved to Luxx LED lighting and have seen a huge improvement in product quality under these new lights, with the added advantage of being more cost effective to operate. Lastly, we are in the process of purchasing and building-out a new facility that will house our home office team, packaging team, production team and distribution team. This facility will also operate as a distribution center to support wholesale and our stores.

I have been most surprised with how quickly the momentum has shifted. A year ago, we were fighting to survive in a pandemic, and now we are back on our toes, playing offense. Our biggest challenge now is finding the team members to support our growth.

And I am so thankful for our team. They not only had the ability to navigate extraordinary challenges, but they kept their focus on continuing to develop new products, continuing to plan for new store openings and planning for growth.
