At The Green Solution, we have continually been challenged to find new ways to meet the growing demand for cannabis while also maintaining competitive pricing and ensuring the highest quality and consistency of our products. It quickly became clear that the best way to address this challenge was to expand our own cultivation capabilities. The alternative was to rely on other cultivation facilities, which would have meant spending the higher prices, as driven by supply and demand, or even placing “out of stock” signs on our shelves.
With 21 dispensaries throughout the state and growing, we have expanded our cultivation footprint to meet the demand of our customers, growing from one to four cultivation facilities over the past five years. Because our expansion strategy for our cultivation facilities mirrors the expansion of our dispensaries, we are now able to ensure we can produce quality product in a timely manner for our customers. Our retail team works tirelessly to ensure our stock levels never run low; our production team works with retail to pay close attention to the ebb and flow of supply and demand.
In addition to cultivation, we have adapted to meet the demand for the best-selling products in our market, which are flower and vape cartridges. Because vape cartridges require the refinement of flower into a concentrated oil form, we’ve gained a greater sense of urgency behind the consistent production of flower. Once this notion was adjusted within our grow systems, we were able to not only keep enough product readily available for our customers who enjoy consuming flower, but also to produce enough flower to supply the production of oil needed for cartridges.
We owe this improvement and constant mode of internal discussion to our successful vertical integration, which allows us to create and maintain efficiencies from all angles in our supply chain. Although we’ve invested more of our funds into building and maintaining cultivation facilities, we have been able to maintain the same prices for our customers. In some cases, we have even lowered our prices because of our improved efficiencies and standards. Affordable pricing and unrestricted access to products have always been top priorities for us, and we will continue to keep our shelves stocked, our prices fair and our customers satisfied.
