A member-based organization focused on improving the environment is helping reduce the global carbon footprint by selling digital art.
Art Reversing Climate Change is selling a variety of NFTs designed by Haddy The Creator on its website, with 70% of proceeds going to businesses such as hemp farmers, charities and other environmentally focused businesses that are approved by ARCC members. ARCC members benefit from the sale of carbon credits created from growing hemp.
According to ARCC, the cultivation of industrial hemp benefits the environment in multiple ways, including as a replacement for paper made from trees and single-use, petroleum-based plastics, as well as sequestering up to 20 tons of carbon per acre per year.
