WhistlePig Whiskey is the latest alcohol brand to infuse its products with a cannabis element, joining several other beer, wine and spirits manufacturers that have used cannabis-based ingredients in limited edition offerings.
WhistlePig introduced its Dank & Dry Old Fashioned Cocktail — a non-alcoholic whiskey featuring non-psychoactive cannabis terpenes — as part of a Dry January promotion.
The terpenes came from a partnership with the Vermont-based cannabis company, Satori,
“I don’t see any THC-infused whiskies in our future, but this probably won’t be the last partnership where we’re working with Satori,” says Meghan Ireland, WhistlePig’s head blender.
